John Wesley Davis, 52, of Orange, CA, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022 in Orange, CA. Born June 24, 1970 in Greensburg, he was a son of the late Wesley L. Davis and Sylvia A. (Quinn) Davis. John was a 1989 graduate of Greater Latrobe Senior High School, and while in high school, he became an Eagle Scout and earned the Order of the Arrow award. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served two tours of duty during the Persian Gulf War. John is survived by his brother, Dwayne Davis; an aunt, Sally Polumbo; cousins John P. Pevarnik, and his son Justice, and Ruth A. Balestrieri, and her husband Joseph; and his two cats he loved, Oscar and Hercules.
Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 AM Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the
Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home, LLC, 601 Weldon Street, Latrobe. Military services will be
conducted at 10:45 AM Thursday in the funeral home by the Latrobe-Derry Veterans Honor
Guard. A funeral liturgy will be held at 11 AM Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Maurus Mount, O.S.B., officiating. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to your favorite animal charity, or to the Wounded Warrior
