Conrod Henry was born on September 13, 1791, in Berks County, Pennsylvania. During the War of 1812, Henry joined the Maryland Militia under the command of Col. Paul Beutalo. During the war, Henry was a teamster, a person who drives a wagon drawn by animals. Following the war, he received land, which he sold in order to buy property in Derry Township, Pennsylvania, and worked as a teamster again after the war. Henry married Mary Kintz and they had six children. Henry died on September 12, 1866. He is buried in section B.
